Our charity film preview event is back with the film "A Walk with Madeleine"
At the CODESPA Foundation, we’re celebrating a new charity film preview of “A Walk with Madeleine,” and we’d like to invite you to share it with us.
Why is it important that you come?
At CODESPA, we have been working for 37 years to end the extreme poverty suffered by people in Latin America, Africa, and Asia. During this time, we have understood that the solution lies in each person achieving a livelihood that guarantees their independence, starting a business or finding work to support their family. And that is what we achieve with the projects we carry out.
To date, we have helped more than 5 million people move from poverty to prosperity. And, with your help, we know we can achieve the challenge we have set for ourselves: helping 10 million people.
Synopsis:
Madeleine, 92, calls a taxi to take her to the retirement home where she will live. Charles, a disillusioned and tender-hearted driver, at the elderly woman’s request, agrees to drive through the places that marked her life. Through the streets of Paris, her extraordinary past is revealed. They don’t know it yet, but the two will forge a friendship during this journey that will change their lives forever.
