Fundació CODESPA Catalunya previews the film "Tiempos de ilusión" in a solidarity event
This autumn, we would like you to join us for Fundació CODESPA’s new charity preview screening: “Tiempos de ilusión,” a comedy by Olivier Nakache and Éric Toledano—the directors behind the box-office hit “The Intouchables.” Set in 1985 Paris, the film explores the transition from childhood to adolescence through a young boy’s eyes. It is a film that pays a heartfelt tribute to an entire generation of parents and will serve as the closing film for the “Pearls” section at the upcoming San Sebastián Film Festival.
We would love you to join us. At this charity event, you will enjoy great cinema and a pleasant time with friends. Furthermore, the funds raised will enable us to provide Comprehensive support to young people and mothers with children who are victims of social exclusion and living on the streets of Tetouan.

Synopsis:
It is 1985. Vincent, nearly thirteen, lives on the outskirts of Paris with his middle-class family, caught between an older brother who ignores him and parents who are constantly arguing. He is no longer a child, yet not quite an adult. Vincent grapples with life’s big questions—identity, friendship, family, first love—and wonders why adults seem not to have resolved any of them.
We thank MOOBY Cinemas and A Contracorriente Films for their collaboration in making this charity preview screening possible by providing the theater and the film, respectively.
