Our charity film previews are events we eagerly anticipate. At these screenings, we gather with friends, partners, and collaborators of CODESPA Catalunya to enjoy a pleasant time and watch great films. They also provide an opportunity to discuss our work and raise funds to continue it.<\/p>

This time, we’ll be watching a beautiful and heartwarming French film based on true events<\/strong>. Titled “Once Upon a Time, My Mother”<\/strong>, it’s directed by Ken Scott and stars Le\u00efla Bekhti, Jonathan Cohen, and Jeanne Balibar, among other actors.<\/p>

At CODESPA, we have been working for 40 years to help people<\/strong> living in extreme poverty and vulnerability<\/strong>. We provide them with training, financial services, and help them access the market, giving them a chance to find decent work and become self-sufficient<\/strong>. This way, they can break out of the cycle of poverty they find themselves in and, at the same time, help their families and communities prosper<\/strong>.<\/p>

Since 1985, we have helped nearly 6 million people and we would like to reach many more<\/strong>. This is where you can help us. We encourage you to come to our charity preview and bring friends, family, and colleagues with you. The more we are, the better<\/strong>. Synopsis<\/strong>:<\/p>

Paris, 1963. Roland, the youngest of six children, is a special child. According to doctors, he will never walk, but his stubborn mother, Esther, simply refuses to accept it.
