    Morocco<\/strong> is considered one of the most stable economies in North Africa<\/strong>. Since 2000, the country has maintained sustained economic growth, with an average annual GDP increase of around 4-5%. At the same time, it remains one of the most unequal countries in the region<\/strong>, with a Gini coefficient of 39.5.<\/p>

    Many migrants travel to Morocco from sub-Saharan Africa hoping for employment and a better life<\/strong>. However, upon arrival, they face numerous barriers, including limited access to formal employment, discrimination, a lack of initial capital, and a lack of social support networks. These difficulties disproportionately affect migrant and vulnerable women<\/strong>, who often face greater obstacles to achieving economic and social integration.<\/p>

    The Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region receives a significant migrant population<\/strong>, as it is one of the country’s main economic and industrial hubs. In this context, many vulnerable women (both Moroccan and migrant) lack real income-generating opportunities, perpetuating situations of inequality and precariousness.<\/p>

    Therefore, launching a textile entrepreneurship project aimed at vulnerable women and young people in Tangier makes strategic and human sense<\/strong>: it offers a specific path to economic inclusion, empowerment, and autonomy. By supporting a group of 10 vulnerable women with technical training, organizational support, and seed capital, a real, sustainable, and market-potential production structure will be created.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    The project seeks to develop income-generating initiatives for women, youth, and migrants by providing them with training and support to strengthen their textile sector businesses, with a green, circular economy approach, and by connecting them with public and private stakeholders to access markets and ensure the sustainability of income-generating activities in the textile sector in the Tangier region.<\/p>

    This project aims to achieve:<\/span><\/p>

    1. To improve the knowledge of 10 Moroccan and migrant women in textile recycling techniques and adapt their products to market demands, <\/strong>through the following activities:
      – Realizaci\u00f3n – Conducting a needs assessment of the participants’ skills and training requirements to tailor the content to their technical level.
      – Designing a modular curriculum that combines theoretical and practical sessions in sewing techniques, pattern making, machine operation, and textile design.
      – Delivering practical workshops in basic business management, business plan development, simplified accounting, production costs, marketing, and procedures for formalizing economic activities.
      – Developing practical exercises and providing individual guidance so that each woman can progress through the legal and administrative requirements necessary to formally register her business.
      – Ongoing support with technical feedback and regular evaluations.
      – Potential creation of two cooperatives, one for the Moroccan population and another for the migrant population.<\/li>
    2. Fortalecer To strengthen the commercial and business management skills of the participants for the development of their own ventures, <\/strong>through:
      – Training in business plan design and microenterprise management, both for individual ventures and for potential cooperatives that may emerge from this initiative.
      – Regular mentoring sessions, progress reviews, and support in preparing key documents.
      – Provision of basic textile equipment for the ventures through seed capital.
      – Identification of new markets and participation in trade fairs and marketing events in the textile sector.<\/li><\/ol>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
